Race that Stops the Bay

Due to the amazing popularity and success of the inaugural 2022 Race and 2023 Race, this fabulous Race will been rescheduled for Saturday in 2024. Stay tuned for the date.

Join us on board the MV Lady Brisbane for the first ever "Race that Stops the Bay". Be part of the action on this fun and exciting day out on the bay!

The race will celebrate the gathering of traditional timber cruisers and will display craftmanship, style and design. Many of the ships were built by local tradesman using quality local timbers.

The race is planned to start at Green Island, head towards St Helena, around Peel Island and finish anchored at a lovely beach, to be decided pending weather.

MV LADY BRISBANE:  Our stylish ship of timber construction is perfect for this popular river cruise.  You can dance to the music on the dance floor or marvel at our Brisbane city lights and iconic landmarks on the other two decks.  There are internal stairs and ample cover in the event of rain.

QUALITY:  We are the longest running family business on the River.  Our food is fresh and bought at local markets daily.  Your quality is assured.

Returns: approx 4pm
