COVID-19 Safety Plan

Feel safe onboard the Lady Brisbane! For the safety of our passengers and crew, we have a COVID Safety plan in place.

Following Queensland Health Department guidelines:

  • Temperatures may be taken as passengers are boarding.
  • Hand sanitiser stations set up on boarding and strategic areas on board.
  • Current social distancing measures apply.
  • Passengers: BYO face mask/scarf to wear at food service time only (10mins).
  • Our crew wear masks and gloves for serving.
  • Our trained crew have completed the latest COVID Safety requirements for our industry.

In addition to Government guidelines, for the safety and comfort of our passengers:

  • BYO travel mugs OR use OUR disposable coffee cups.
  • The Lady Brisbane is NOT a cruise ship.
  • Brisbane Cruises is a Brisbane based small business.
  • The Lady Brisbane is NOT air conditioned.
  • Enjoy the fresh sea air from her many decks.
  • Plenty of under-cover areas.

Surcharges

  • 10% Surcharge on drinks purchased on Public Holidays
  • Credit card Surcharge on all bookings (amount will be calculated automatically on booking)

Cancellation Policy

Regular general/public cruises: A minimum of 72 hours notice is required by Passengers to cancel or reschedule a booking (no refund on credit card fee).

No refund within 72 hours of a cruise (crew and food organised by then)

If Brisbane Cruises re-schedule a cruise, a full refund will be offered or we will be happy to transfer you to another cruise.

Special Event cruises: e.g. Riverfire/Sunsuper Night Sky, Christmas Day, NYE, Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race start, FUNCTIONS or Christmas cruises, a minimum of one month (30 days) is required to cancel a booking. Any cancellations within this period will not be refunded. Transfer to another event is at our discretion.


General Terms and Conditions for Brisbane Cruises Pty Ltd (as appears on each confirmed booking)

The standard terms and conditions below, apply in **NORMAL situations. In the event of Pandemics, other diseases or natural disasters, cruises will be rescheduled to a later date and payments transferred.
**Notice of 72 hours is required to cancel (bank fees not refunded) or reschedule a booking on our regular cruises. NO REFUND if cancelled within the 72 hours. (Excludes function & Christmas bookings). Cruise days, agenda, vessels and destinations may change in the interests of safety, travel conditions, or any other situations whether in our control or not. We reserve the right to cancel cruises if minimum numbers are not met. The company, or staff will not be held responsible for any unforeseeable events or break downs which may affect or alter cruises nor be responsible for any death, injuries or losses suffered when on board or during tours. Unless advised otherwise by you, we reserve the right to photograph/video our passengers during cruises and use in our marketing. You will receive regular emails with upcoming events/cruises:- simply unsubscribe if not wanted. Gift card value remains as purchased. Menus and prices subject to change without notice.
Function/Charters and Events such as Riverfire, Night the River Sings, Christmas Day, Christmas Parties and New Years Eve require a 30 day notice of cancellation.
St Helena Island School Tours require 120 days notice of cancellation.

Marketing

Email newsletters/promotions: All passengers automatically join our "Travel Club" on booking a cruise or making an enquiry. We reserve the right to promote our cruises/events to any contacts received during these processes. If you DO NOT want to receive our email newsletters, simply unsubscribe from our mailing list on receiving the first email.

Photos/videos: We reserve the right to use any photos/videos taken of passengers during our cruises. If you DO NOT want us to use your photo/video, please call our office with details. We endeavour to be respectful of using images at all times.
