Earlier this year, we hosted 200 freshman from St John’s College at University of Queensland.  This is an annual tradition and the students were in fine form, with freshers (first year students) dressed in pirate costumes so they could be easily recognised.

The group always provides its own student band and the dancefloor was soon pumping with a sea of young bodies enjoying the beats from the stage.

It’s great to see each new generation coming on board to enjoy the elegant timber vessel that is Lady Brisbane.

Most of these kids have likely never been on a boat, let alone one with the interesting history that Lady B has.

The bar was pumping, and the boat was jumping!  Lady Brisbane is the perfect venue for a party with a difference.
